A short walk today, so I can linger over breakfast. Rations are a little thin. Then, joy, I discover a piece of squished carrot cake, that I bought yesterday and forgot about.
It is a lovely, still morning, and the scenery is gorgeous.
Lee Bay is beautiful. My favourite spot of the morning.
I reach Ilfracombe quite early, so plenty of time for pear crumble and coffee, before catching a bus for the long journey home. The hill in the background is a reminder of what lies ahead for the final stage of the SWCP.

Gorgeous scenery and super photos. It is a wonderful part of the coast.
Yes, I will miss this when I am walking round Hinkley power station.
