The England Coast Path and Wales Coast Path are complete, except for two gaps to be filled: Salcott to Clacton-on-Sea (25 miles) & Portsmouth to Lymington (36 miles).
Scotland progress:

Scotland gaps to be filled:
- Rosemarkie to Tain via Cromarty Ferry (47 miles).
- Berriedale to Whaligoe (22 miles).
- Tarbert to Clachan Bridge (100 miles).
- Barcaldine to Ballachulish via Glen Creran (15 miles).
Good luck with your venture. Yes, on a map the distance of the areas to walk seem huge.
Thanks Erica. Fortunately, I have plenty of time. 🙂
Hi Tony. You popped up on my feed today. Good to see that your still travelling and in Anglesey. Message me if you would like a house to stay in along Cleveleys. I’m 1 1/2 miles from the shore.
Thanks Erica. I’ll keep that in mind when I’m planning for Lancashire.
Hi Tony. I’m not sure of your plans for the stretch from Tarbert to Clachan Bridge (100 miles), I’ve been looking into this myself. I’m not tying myself to the coast if it means a lot of road walking and came across a new route on the Pilgrims Trust website called the Dalriada Way, runs exactly from Tarbert to Oban ( https://www.britishpilgrimage.org/portfolio/dalriada-way ). May be of interest.
Hi John. Good to hear from you again. I’ve struggled with planning for that section as there is simply too much road walking for my liking, so this is really helpful. I’ll take a good look at it. Thanks!
